7-Eleven Convenience Stores

I chose to do my business assignment about 7-Eleven because it is the world's largest franchisor of convenience store with more than 45,000 employees, 39,000 stores located in 16 countries around the world including Canada, Philippines, Mexico, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and many others. The first 7-Eleven opened up back in 1927 and the first one in Calgary opened up back in June 1969. Its main headquaters is located in Dallas, Texas. Joseph M. DePinto is the president of this successful franchise. They compete with other popular convenience stores in Canada such as Mac's, Becker's Milk and Couche-Tard.  Another reason why this franchise is so popular is because they offer gas stations not only in Canada or the U.S but also in Europe and Asia. Popular products at 7-Eleven convenience stores are Slurpee Beverage, coffee, sandwiches and prepared food. Its total revenue is estimated to be US$17 billion which is about $16.8 billion Canadian dollars since the Canadian dollar is worth a little more than is U.S dollar in the market right now.

  1. If all business had unlimited cash, none of the businesses would actually make sense because why would they keep working if they had unlimited money. If a business had unlimited cash, it wouldn't be called a business because when you open a business, your main goal is to make money but if you already have unlimited money then what is going to happen.
